Night drives on nearby Game Farms can be arranged on request. Join us, your hosts, Chris, Linda, David and Margaret on our Citrus farm in the very heart of Addo and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and scenic setting when staying the night in one of our luxury African Mud Huts. Each hut has been built with rural Africa in mind (but not without the modern comforts of home, of course). After enjoying a hearty country breakfast, you can head off to the Addo National Elephant Park which is situated only 12km away, or you could choose to spend the day relaxing alongside our beautiful swimming pool. We are also in close proximity to a number of private game reserves and can assist you with booking any safaris that you may want to go on. ACCOMMODATIONEach hut has been created with rustic Africa in mind and replicates the authentic African mud hut. The roof is thatched with grass, and the walls are made from an earth and clay mixture. Each hut has its own en-suite bathroom (with shower, basin and toilet) and sleeps 2 adults on very comfortable queen sized or twin beds. Some of the huts can also accommodate a third person, on a very comfortable sleeper couch. After a full day’s game viewing, relax around a warm fire under the African night sky, whilst we prepare a delicious meal for you. GAME DRIVESThe Addo Elephant park has over 370 elephant, buffalo, black rhino, lion, hyena, zebra various species of antelope, and many other interesting animals. The park opens at about 7am to day visitors. You can choose to either drive yourself around the game park, or to go on one of the organised game drives. Each game drive is 2 hours long. Night drives on Game Farms such as Schotia Safaris and Shamwari can be arranged on special request. DIRECTIONS: From Port Elizabeth Take the N2 past Port Elizabeth and Blue water Bay Take the Motherwell/Markmann (R335) turnoff to Addo. Keep on this road for about 40km until you reach the small village of Addo. Opposite the Police station, take a left turn down Valentine road (which becomes a gravel road), we are about 2km down this road. We are well sign posted. From East London Take the R72 as far as the Nanaga intersection. Take the N10 in the direction of Paterson/ Cradock. Drive as far as Paterson, and take a left turn onto the R342 to Addo. Drive about 40km (past the entrance of the Addo Elephant park) until you reach the village of Addo. Opposite the Police station, take a right turn down Valentine road (which becomes a gravel road), we are about 2km down this road. We are well sign posted. From Graaf Reinet Turn off the R75 to Kirkwood, and drive through Kirkwood on the R336. Keep driving in the direction of Addo. You will pass the “Africanos” Restaurant on your left. Keep driving for another 2km, and look out for our sign, “Chrislin B&B”, follow our sign by turning right onto a gravel road. Drive straight on the gravel road, until you reach our entrance.
