Beacon Lodge combines quality accommodation and a fine location close to Port Elizabeth's best beaches, hospitality and entertainment attractions.

Beacon Lodge is situated just 10 minutes from the airport and offer an airport shuttle on request. We are within walking distance of Pollock Beach as well as the Summerstrand Pick ‘n Pay shopping centre that offers take-aways, a restaurant as well as a coffee shop. The Boardwalk Casino as well as many other beachfront attractions is only 2-3 kilometres away.

ACCOMMODATION


Our self-catering apartments have recently been redecorated and refitted to create comfortable interiors with subtle tones of Africa. Everything you require to make yourself at home is provided.

Bachelor Flats:
Our very spacious bachelor flat has an open plan lounge/bedroom. The bedroom area contains a double bed and the lounge has a dining table that seats 4, chairs, coffee table and a sleeper couch (folds into a double bed). Most units also have enclosed balcony with a single bed. Ideally we recommend this unit to families with a maximum of 2 children or 3 adults sharing.

One-Bedroom Flats:
These units have a double bed in the bedroom. The lounge contains a dining room set, chairs, coffee table and a sleeper couch. In addition to the sleeper couch there are also 2 single beds in the lounge.

Two-Bedroom Flats:
These are the largest units available. These have a double and a single bed in the first bedroom. The second bedroom contains 3 single beds, and again there is a sleeper couch in the lounge along with chairs, dining set, coffee table, etc.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES


We pride ourselves on our quality beds and crisp linen and all units are equipped with bedside cabinets, lamps, mirrors, dressing tables and hairdryers. All our units also have televisions (with M-Net), phones and spacious cupboards.

Kitchens are outfitted with a bar fridge, microwave, small oven, kettle, toaster, electric frying pan, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and other eating utensils and equipment. All flats are serviced daily and linen and bath towels are provided.

The lodge also has a courtyard area with a large picnic table and umbrella and a communal braai area that we encourage the guests to use. In addition to all this we provide secure parking. A continental breakfast can be provided on request.
