I live around the corner from Constantia and it's a frequent visit for me. I particularly love Alphen Trail for walking my dog. It's so green and lush, and my dogs loves to splash in the river that hugs the trail.
There are also some cute restaurants - Pastis is a favourite - and Constantia Village is great for a quick coffee or for some window shopping. The wine estates are great - Constantia Uitsig being my favourite (the 3 restaurants there are all fantastic and I never leave without buying some of their wines for home).

I love leafy Constantia where its just as normal to see someone riding their horse along the main road as it is to see someone taking part in a half marathon or walking their dog. The Porters Market is a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning, while a picnic at Groot Constantia or dinner at Constantia Uitsig are highly recommended too.
