Nice to drive through

Review by Helen (Kearsney)

Although Stanger itself isnt much to write home about it does have a handful of 'high street' shops - Pick n Pay, Clicks, Woolies, Mr Price etc ... so if you are holidaying nearby you can pick up odds and ends. The surrounding areas however are pretty - rolling green fields of sugar cane and bushland. Visit Kearsney Manor - the home of the original Kearsney College ... and the Kearsney Chapel is a National Monument.

Good for an hour or two

Review by Dawn (Hermanus)

The appeal of Stanger lies in the beauty of the surrounding countryside. It really is quite a classic beauty - green and endless. But the actual town doesnt offer much in the way of attractions.
