I have grown up in this area, attending school, tennis lessons, cycling in the Delta, etc. Now, as an adult with children of my own I still find this suburb to be a sensible choice! Government schools in the area have fantastic reputations, two of which I have first hand experience. The Delta gives an 'air' of freshness, natural relaxation and a truly fabulous place for children to grow up. Yes the crime is an issue, but it is the same in Sandton CBD without the green beauty. After the rush of everyone trying to get home in the evenings, Blairgowrie is quiet and tranquil. With all the necessary shops required to satisfy you need for retail therapy, as well as filling stations, schools, the recreation centre, post office and much more, Blairgowrie is the perfect place to live.
