As a surfer, I loved Port Alfred. The waves were epic and the people were very welcoming.
We really enjoyed Port Alfred. There were plenty of things to do, and quiet a few restaurants, which we always like to visit. The town is small, but the scenery is pretty, and it has a very relaxed feeling to it.
It would be nice if some enterprising businessman could build a pedestrian rope bridge over the river at Guido's so that walkers can get over to east beach without having to drive all the way round the canals
