What a beautiful, old little town. Love the history. The Grahamstown Arts festival is quite fun and nice to see. I wouldnt stay here for a long time though, was great for the day.
What a vibe! When the students are in town expect the nightlife to be buzzing. The town has plentyof history too - check out the oldest postbox in the country. Enjoyed the brief stay here, next time I'd like a bit more time to explore.
Grahamstown is full of history. I love the architecture of all the old buildings and the original homes. There are some pretty braai spots here too. Try to visit during the arts festival to experience the cultural buzz around it.
My dad studied at Rhodes and it was great visiting Grahamstown with him and learning about his old haunts and student life. Grahamstown is a fun town with a lot of history. The Grahamstown Arts Festival is a fantastic splash of culture and dynamic talent.
