Sadly, Lavender Blue has only 2 stall holders left, out of the dozen or more that used to be there on a Saturday morning. They have also reduced their stock of fruit & veggies to one small table. Not worth going to except for Michelle's Nursery and a fairly good cup of coffee.
i like East london its very nice this place, the people are lovely. I wish i can move to this place
I travel regularly to East London on business and its a friendly city. Not that much to do but it is nice for families with beaches and gardens to walk. You can sometimes see dolphins playing in the waves from the Esplanade and sundowners on the Deck at the Gonubie Hotel is a good vibe.
Its ok, not a great deal to do here, especially at night. There are a few things to see and places to visit. Definitely better for a shorter trip rather than a long stay.
I have family in East London so I travel there regularly. The beaches are lovely, the Lion Park to see lion cubs is worth a visit and pop in at the aquarium and spend some time at the botanical gardens! It's a lovely town worth exploring :)
East London was always very quiet, but it is growing all the time. The beaches are lovely and there are quite a few good restaurants.
I stayed with my friends parents while up for the weekend doing the half Iron Man - what a friendly place. The people are lovely and the vibe during the race was just awesome.
