Travel Experience - Kragga Kamma

"Often we feel like just taking the day off and sighting magnificent wildlife in their natural surroundings. Thankfully, living in PE gives us the opportunity to do just that. The Kragga Kamma Game Reserve is situated right in Port Elizabeth taking only 15 minutes to get there from the city centre.

The Reserve is home to White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bontebok, Lechwe and many more. All the animals roam freely, unrestricted in natural surroundings and lush forests. We were able to take our own vehicle there and stop as we please when we sighted animals. The great thing about this game reserve is that it has long stretches of wide open land. So there is always something to see! We had the awesome experience of 2 rhino’s grazing right next to our car! We spotted quite a few giraffe’s, buffalo, warthogs (or aerials as my mom-in-law loves to call them) and many species of buck up close and personal.

When you enter the reserve, they provide you with a pamphlet of the different animals to be seen" ...
