Welgemoed, Cape Town North
The tree-lined avenues and quiet residences of Welgemoed lie nestled in the Tygerberg hills just 20 minutes’ from Cape Town and 30 minutes’ from Paarl and Stellenbosch with their invitation of wine farms, grey blue mountains and green valleys.
Welgemoed is positioned just off the N1 between the Bellville golf course and Tygerberg Nature Reserve - its property prices bearing testimony to the popularity of this part of Cape Town and the beautiful views it commands over the valley and the distant Stellenbosch Mountains. And the Bellville golf course lies in the surrounding rolling hills with enviable views of the Hottentots Holland Mountains in the distance. This 18-hole golf course is well bunkered with five water holes, and the dams and water canals attract birds, which only adds to the enjoyment of a challenging round of golf.
You’re five minutes’ away from the Tygervalley shopping mall with its feast of shops, restaurants and entertainment, and a mere fifteen minutes from the wine estates of the Durbanville wine route and the city of Cape Town.

Tygerberg Nature Reserve
The 278ha reserve in the Tygerberg Hills is situated in the extremely endangered West Coast Renoster veld. From "The Viewpoint" in the reserve, the Cape Peninsula can be seen in all its splendour.
